Rebel Wilson is Suing Aussie Mags Over Fake Age Claims

Last year, some Australian magazines made a big deal over some small claims Rebel Wilson lied about her age.

Women's magazine titles, Woman's Day, The Australian Women's Weekly, NW and OK Magazine, all published articles claiming Rebel wasn't the age she claimed to be, and that Rebel was not even her real name.

Understandably, Rebel was not very happy with media on the home front.

However, we since learned the beef was far from over!

Yesterday, it was revealed Rebel filed defamation charges in a Victorian court against Bauer Media - the publisher responsible for the aforementioned women's magazine titles.

The legal claim states these articles defamed her and made her out to be a "serial liar who has invented fantastic stories in order to make it in Hollywood".

She is suing Bauer for damages, claiming she lost roles because of the articles, and suffered embarrassment.

Don't mess with Rebel!
