Real Wedding: Sarah & Dean

Sarah Jesson & Dean Borwic Venue: Milton Park Country House, Bowral, NSW Photography: Infinity Photography Dean, 29, proposed to Sarah, 25, on her birthday at Sydney's Taronga Zoo. Their fairytale wedding took a year to plan and unfolded at tranquil Milton Park Country House. A romantic vintage theme was accented by shades of pink & cream and fresh flowers. THE WEDDING DRESS Sarah looked like a fairytale princess in her pale pink Clarissa Grace wedding gown. The full skirt had 12 layers of tulle, while the detailed strapless bodice featured a layer of lace around the mid section, tulle detail around the top, and buttons all the way down the back. 'The bow detail under the bust tied in with our theme and the colour was the inspiration for the day.' says the bride. 'I knew it was perfect.' Instead of a veil, Sarah wore a vintage headpiece. THE CAKE The couple's cupcake tower by Faye Cahill included five different designs of cupcakes including butterfly, hearts, flowers and bows with a top cake. 'The top cake had the same detailing as my dress and invitations in white chocolate with rose petal icing,' says Sarah. THE VENUE Sarah and Dean chose to marry at Milton Park Country House in Bowral for its gardens, privacy and vintage furniture pieces. The couple opted for a sit-down reception for 50 guests. THE STYLING 'We had chair covers added to finish off the room with pale pink bow ties around them,' says Sarah. 'This tied in nicely with our cake, my dress and invitations as they all included bows.' says Sarah. 'We had rose petals scattered down the aisle and used vintage birdcages filled with flowers to tie in with the birdcage we stood in front of,' she ads. THE SHOES 'My shoes were silver with an open toe. They featured a silver bow on the front and were only 6cm in height,' says the bride. 'I loved the style. The bow detailing and heel height were perfect.' She also wore a Swarovski bow bracelet, earrings from Thomas Sabo and Chanel perfume given to her by Dean. THE FLOWERS Sarah carried a natural stem posy of David Austin and glasshouse roses, lisianthus and freesias all in shades of pink and cream with a few green berries and camellia leaves. The reception tables were adorned with seasonal pink and cream posies of ranunculus, snap dragons, chin chins, freesias, lisianthus, green berries and camellia leaves. 'We wanted to have a very romantic feel.' WEDDING CONTACTS
