Pre-Wedding Beauty Plan!

Makeup gurus Leiane Taylor, Budi Juspandi and Aimie Fiebig from beauty brand ModelCo, share their expert tips and tricks on how to achieve that fresh, dewy, radiant wedding look before you even meet your makeup artist!

“Use FACE OFF Smoothing Facial Exfoliator, $34, twice a week to refine and brighten the skin,” says Taylor. “For dry areas of the body use EXFOLIATE Body Wipes, $26, daily - massage the coarse side in a circular motion to slough away dead skin cells and the softer side to buff and polish to perfection.”

“Sexy, sun-kissed skin will beautifully set-off a white gown but don’t risk sun-exposure,” advises Taylor. “Perfect a faux glow by first prepping the skin with TAN PREP Body Polish, $26 which neutralises the pH Levels in the skin ensuring an even coverage.

My favourite tanning product for brides is TAN Airbrush In A Can, $34, as it delivers a salon-professional result, but gives you complete control, and the blue/green base delivers a rich bronze glow rather than a nasty orange shade. Start to apply your tan one week before the big day. Start light and layer until you’ve reached the desired hue. TAN REMOVER, $25, is your saviour for any mishaps!”

“No need for Bridal Botox! I use ERASE THOSE FINE LINES™, $65, on all my brides. Simply swipe the wand over trouble areas such as around the eye and the forehead for instantly tighter, smoother skin,” advises Taylor.

“Well-groomed brows are integral to any bridal beauty look as they frame the face,” says Juspandi. “In the lead up to the big day, apply LASH + BROW Growth Stimulator, $42, before bedtime for more luscious lashes and fuller brows in just 14 days. BROW CONTROL Clear Gel, $24, will to hold them in place all day and night.”

“Curl lashes from the root using Turbo LASHWAND Heated Eyelash Curler, $35 (this is also great to keep in the bride’s beauty bag to refresh the lashes before the reception),” says Fiebig.
