The romantics of the world are having a tough month after another celebrity couple calls it quits.
A week after Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie confirmed their divorce, another long-term celebrity couple has called it a day.
Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber released a statement confirming their split after 11 years together.
"Over the past few months we've come to the conclusion that the best way forward for us as a family is to separate as a couple," Naomi and Liev said.
"It is with great love, respect, and friendship in our hearts that we look forward to raising our children together and exploring this new phase of our relationship.
"While we appreciate your curiosity and support, we ask the press to be mindful of our children and respect their right to privacy."
While the couple were never married, they have two children, Alexander (known as Sasha), 9, and Samuel, 7.

The couple met while both attending the Met Gala in 2005. They have been dating ever since but never formally married.
PEOPLE reports a source said the couple has been "on the rocks for a while."
However, fans will be shocked by the news after Naomi, 47, and Liev, 48, put in a picture perfect performance while promoting their latest film The Bleeder, in which they play a husband and wife in the 60s.
