MTV Movie Awards Fashion Gallery

Sandra Bullock kissed Scarlett Johansson on stage last night.

The brunette actress – who recently split from her husband Jesse James over claims he had cheated on her several times - locked lips with the blonde beauty whilst accepting the Generation Award at the MTV Movie Awards in Universal City, California, before admitting she was desperate for her life to return to normal.

After grabbing Scarlett, 25, in a passionate embrace, Sandra quipped to the crowd: "Now that we have done that, can we please go back to normal – because therapy is really expensive. Go back to making fun of me, I don't care, it’s time to get back to normal."

The 45-year-old actress went in for the smooch after flirting with Scarlett – who is married to Sandra’s ‘The Proposal’ love interest Ryan Reynolds – on stage.

She explained: "Well, since Ryan was working, I wanted to be here in his place when you guys won Best Kiss."

Sandra replied: "That’s so nice. But we didn’t win."

Scarlett responded: "Right... well... I thought you should have won... it was a great kiss."

The Hollywood beauties then shuffled towards each other, with Sandra cupping Scarlett’s face as she went in for the smooch – much to the amusement of the star-studded audience.
We’re not quite sure what the point of this exercise was but at least it put a smile on Sandra’s face and that is something we haven’t seen of late.

As far as the fashions went, Katy Perry rocked a blue wig while Lindsay Lohan tried to bring back the rhinestone pant suit. “Tried” being the operative word! Short hemlines were out in force as were sequins and sparkles.
