Meghan Trainor Takes A Strong Stand Against Photoshop

Meghan Trainor has had it with body shamers!

The 'All About That Bass' singer took a strong and necessary stand against people photo-shopping her figure, removing her latest music video after she discovered her body had been digitally altered.

Rightfully, Meghan was surprised and annoyed when she realised someone had made her waist appear smaller in the colourful and otherwise gorgeous 'Me Too' video.

"They Photoshopped the crap out of me," Meghan revealed on Snapchat. "I'm so sick of it and I'm over so I took it down until they fix it."

She also told USA TODAY, she texted her editors and said 'I want my waist back.'

"Why would they ever be like, ‘Let’s break her ribs!’?" Meghan elaborated. "It’s insulting, it’s rude."

The real #metoo video is finally up! Missed that bass. Thank you everyone for the support ??

The 22-year-old stuck by her word and pulled the video clip from Vevo and YouTube until her body was restored to its natural glory.

In a climate where women - even mega stars, like Amy Schumer and Meghan Trainor - are struggling to have their bodies accepted, we congratulate Meghan on taking such a strong stance on the issue.
