Meet the Celebrity Children More Famous than Their Parents

Yes, we are old and the offspring of all our favourite celebrities are now, somehow, more famous than their parents!

You know when you see a photo of Suri Cruise and realise, 'Holy s**t. I'm old'? Well, expect a lot more of that, because more and more celebrity spawn are rising to the top of the famous crop.

It seems we can't go a week now without seeing a headline about some celebrity child eclipsing their parents on the A-list.

If you want to keep track of the next generation of stars, be sure to keep an eye on these famous faces:

1. Presley and Kaia Gerber

Presley, 17, and Kaia, 15, are the genetically privileged offspring of original supermodel Cindy Crawford and her husband, Rande Gerber. Both teens are taking after mum, strutting many a catwalk over the past year, but Kaia was most recently tapped as the new face of Marc Jacobs.

2. Scott Eastwood

Clint Eastwood's 30-year-old son has been making a name for himself as an actor for the past decade. Most recently you may have caught him this year's most anticipated blockbuster, Suicide Squad, but you are perhaps more likely to recognise Scott from his last role as the hunky heartthrob in Taylor Swift's Wildest Dreams music video.

3. Destry Allyn Spielberg

The daughter of Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw made her modelling debut in 2016, after signing with LA-based modelling agency DT Model Management.

4. Tiger Lily Hutchence

Tiger Lily re-emerged in headlines recently after modelling for sustainable fashion brand, House of Khadi. The 20-year-old has been in the spotlight since she was a child, following the tragic deaths of both her parents, Michael Hutchence and Paula Yates in 1997 and 2000, respectively.

5. Brooklyn Beckham

As the oldest of the Beckham clan, Brooklyn, 17, is the first of David and Victoria's children to enter the spotlight - although, we're sure he won't be the last! Brooklyn was originally tapped to follow his dad's footsteps into the professional world of football, he didn't quite make the cut and has since explored work in modelling and photography.

6. Lily-Rose Depp

With that bone structure, there was no way the daughter of Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis was going to avoid the limelight. Lily-Rose, 17, made her mark on the fashion industry as the face of Chanel, but forayed into acting in 2016 with three films released within the year.

7. Lourdes Leon

Madonna's eldest daughter was famous from a young age thanks in part to both her mother and her phenomenal eyebrows. Now, at the age of 20, Lourdes is joining mum front row and fashion shows and on red carpets, and recently appeared in a campaign for Stella McCartney's fragrance, Pop.

8. Rafferty and Iris Law

We're only just beginning to see Jude Law and Sadie Frost's 16-year-old daughter take a turn in the modelling world, booking a Teen Vogue photoshoot earlier this year. Iris is the second eldest of Law's five children, the youngest of whom was born last year. Meanwhile, Jude and Sadie's son Rafferty has also been strutting catwalks since 2014.

9. Jaden and Willow Smith

By now, most of us are familiar with the Smith's stunning children, Jaden and Willow. Jaden, now 18,  made his big-screen debut at the age of six with his dad, Will Smith, in The Pursuit of Happyness. He has since appeared in several more films, including the remake of the Karate Kid.

Meanwhile, Willow, 16, made her film debut with her father in 2007's I Am Legend, but has since launched a more successful music career. The 'Whip My Hair Back and Forth' singer is the youngest musician to be signed to Jay Z's record label, Roc Nation.

10. Ava Phillippe

Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe's 17-year-old daughter made her solo red carpet debut this year, with many remarking on the striking resemblance between Ava and her mother. Unlike a lot of other celebrity kids on the list, Ava appears less interested in fame and more into building a portfolio as a visual artist. Just check out her sketches on Instagram!
