At 13 years old, Dance Moms alum Maddie Ziegler is penning the story of her life.
Most people wait a lifetime to write their memoir - but not Maddie Ziegler.
The high-achieving teen is making the leap to the written word with her first autobiography and a young adult fiction series.
Her memoir, The Maddie Diaries, is expected to tell the tale of Maddie's staggering career, and will no doubt include some fascinating trivia about her time under Abby Lee's tuition.
The Maddie Diaries will precede a fictional trilogy of novels about a young dancer attempting to "navigate the competitive dance circuit, while handling the woes of the average pre-tee girl". The series is set to hit stores between 2017 and 2019.
"I've always been the type of person who really enjoys writing stories," Maddie told PEOPLE. "So when I found out I would be writing books, I was so excited that I got started right away!"
Not only is Maddie joining the literary world, she's also set to star in her first film, The Book of Henry, alongside acclaimed actors Naomi Watts and Jacob Tremblay.
She is currently a judge on So You Think You Can Dance Kids and continues to perform with Australian singer, Sia.
