Lindsay Lohan confirmed the terrible truth about her abusive relationship with her fiance, Egor Tarabasov.
In an interview, the 30-year-old actress spoke about the couple's relationship in light of a series of fights gone public.
"I realise now you can’t stay in a relationship just for love," she told the Daily Mail. "No woman can be hit and stay with that person if that person isn’t prepared to say sorry."
The revelation comes after the pair were photographed in a violent tussle on a beach in Mykonos.

The couple was allegedly arguing in a car, when Lindsay threw Egor's phone out of the vehicle. He then chased her on to the beach, and appeared to get violent.
The scuffle was caught on film and published by Radar Online, but later circulated on Twitter.
"Egor drank too much and he went crazy," Lindsay said of the event.

The photos of the argument in Greece arrived only days after video footage showed Lindsay screaming for help on her London balcony, after Egor allegedly strangled her.
Lindsay was screaming for help form her neighbours.
Of this event, Lindsay said: "When we got home [from dinner] I went to bed and Egor went out. A few hours later he came back and when I woke up he was standing over me. He wasn't himself, he was being very aggressive and he attacked me."
Lindsay said this wasn't the first time Egor abused her.
"It's not the first time. That's the problem. But this time, someone saw. I didn't call anyone, I've dealt with enough police in LA. I just left the house and went to the Connaught [Hotel] for the night," she revealed. "I contacted my good friend Hofit Golan who was in St Tropez. She said, 'Get on a plane, come and meet me,' so I did. I needed some time for myself."
Dear friends. I'm good and well. #ATM I am taking time for myself with good friends. I am sorry that I've exposed certain private matters recently. I was acting out of fear and sadness... We all make mistakes. Sadly mine have always been so public. I have done a lot of soul searching in the past years, and I should have been more clear minded rather than distract from the good heart that I have. Social media comes with the territory of the business and the world we now live in. My intentions were not meant to send mixed messages. Maybe things can be fixed... Maybe not.. I hope they can. But I am 30 years old and I do deserve a #GENTLEgiant Life is about love and light. Not anger ???? Thank you to those who stand by my side
The interview with Daily Mail took place at a hotel in Sardinia.
"I wanted to do this interview because it's time to tell the truth," Lindsay said between tears. "There have been so many lies printed about me recently. I've kept quiet for so long but now I'm scared of what Egor might do to me and to himself."
