Kim Kardashian Weighs in on Public Breastfeeding Debate

"I try not to be judgemental anymore."

Kim Kardashian has offered an olive branch to women who breastfeed their children in public.

Kim confessed she was once "shocked" to see a woman breastfeeding in a restaurant, but has since come around to the idea.

"I know some people find breastfeeding such a private, personal experience, while other people are very open and even breastfeed in public," she wrote on her website. "Now that I'm a mom, I say whatever makes you comfortable goes."

Kim, who gave birth to her second child in December, went on to say that she still wouldn't breastfeed in public unless it was "an emergency situation", but has conceded this isn't practical advice for everyone.

"Now that I'm a mom, I'm not that shocked, especially if you have a few kids and can't leave to breastfeed one kid in the bathroom while leaving the others at the table," she wrote.

Nevertheless, she would openly breastfeed in front of her girlfriends, and "doesn't mind" the odd breastfeeding pic.

"I know people have their opinions on how others should live their lives and I try not to be judgmental anymore—this is simply just my opinion."

Kim and her husband Kanye West have two children, North, aged two, and Saint who is one-month-old. She has since been advised by doctors not to have any more children.
