Kim Kardashian Told Not To Have Any More Children

Many women face reproductive challenges - and the world's most famous woman isn't exempt.

Kim Kardashian has been very open throughout both of her pregnancies, perhaps more so with her Saint West, who was born on December 5.

Earlier this year, Kim penned a blog post about her "high risk pregnancy", revealing she suffers a condition called placenta accreta - when placenta and blood cells grow into your uterine wall. According to the website, it can cause "rapid, life-threatening bleeding" in the mother, and also put the fetus at risk.

After the birth of her daughter North in 2013, Kim recalls: "My doctor had to stick his entire arm in me and detach the placenta with his hand, scraping it away from my uterus with his fingernails."

Kim describes it as "the most painful experience of my life!" - even more painful than the birth itself.

Placenta accreta can become more serious with each pregnancy.  For this reason, TMZ reports doctors have advised Kim to stop having children.

While Kim has not commented, insiders have said Kim and her husband, Kanye West, are fine with their family as it is, and that both the Kardashian-West children are happy and healthy.

In some more bizarre placenta-related news, Kim K revealed she will eat hers - in pill form!

"So, I'm really not this holistic person or someone who would have ever considered eating my placenta," Kim wrote before revealing she would consume her afterbirth, according to E! News.

"And when I say 'eat my placenta,' I mean that I'm having it freeze-dried and made into a pill form—not actually fry it like a steak and eat it (which some people do, BTW)," she announced.

Kim may learned the strategy from her sister Kourtney Kardashian, who also used this method to eat her placenta.
