Brace yourselves, Sex and the City fans! Samantha Jones is coming back for more!
Last month, Sarah Jessica Parker revealed Sex and the City wasn't quite done bringing its delightful NYC dating stories to our screens.
While she couldn't tell us whether there was another series or a movie in the works, she dropped a couple of hints about bringing back our four best friends Carrie, Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte.
"I don't think any of us have said no," she said of the main actresses involved in the series.
"I don't know whether it's a series or the movie. I think that remains an open question and discussion that will continue until it's been resolved. I think that's always a possibility, definitely."
Now, we have another star confirming there's more to the girl powered show.
American talk show host, Wendy Williams, said Kim Cattrall was in talks with studios to get her character, Samantha Jones, a spin-off.
"Reportedly Kim Cattrall is in talks with HBO to reprise her role as Samantha Jones the publicist - uh huh, it's going to be good - in a spin off!", Wendy told her show audience.
Wendy went on to say that "noses wrinkled" when the topic came up in her meeting.
"'Wendy, really? Do you really want to see a 60-year-old Samantha Jones running around Manhattan being flexible and with young men and stuff?' and I said, 'yes.'" she exlaimed.
"Sixty with Samantha Jones and 60 with a lot of women now - totally different to back in the day!"
Kim later Tweeted to Wendy saying she "can't wait" to get back to work!
"I'm so unbelievably flattered and moved [Wendy]. Can't WAIT 2 get back 2 the serious business of making u all laugh. Fingers x'd."
There you have it, folks. We just can't help but wonder, will Carrie, Charlotte and Miranda still be friends with Sam in the spin-off?
