Khloe Kardashian has broken her silence following her estranged husband, Lamar Odom’s hospitalisation.
"The past week has been incredibly difficult. I am so thankful to family, friends and fans, who have sent nothing but prayers and well wishes to Lamar,” she wrote on her website.
“I also want to take a moment to thank everyone at Sunrise Hospital, including the amazing doctors and nurses for their kindness and diligent work. Under their amazing care, incredible strides have been made.
“You can never be prepared for an experience like this, but without the outpouring of love and endless prayers that Lamar has received and the strength I was given from my loved ones, it would have been difficult to endure. Thank you for your continued support. God is great!!! XOXO, Khloé."
The 31-year-old Keeping up with the Kardashians star raced to Lamar’s side after he was found unconscious at a brothel in Nevada.
After waking from his four day coma, the former LA Lakers star is on the mend, but still has a long road to recovery.
He has now been discharged from Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas and has been transported via helicopter to LA’s Cedars-Sinai hospital where he remians in ICU.
Khloe, who has not left his side, was photographed exiting the hospital with Lamar as he was transported to the chopper.
While Lamar is making fast progress, now being able to breath, swallow and eat on his own, he has a lot of rehab ahead of him, and Khloe intends to stay by his side.
"You can tell it's taking a toll on Khloe, but she is staying strong for Lamar," a source told E! News.
"She goes everywhere with him. If Lamar leaves the room for testing, she follows,” a second source added.
