Khloe Kardashian has confirmed the family is "pulling back" following the attack on Kim.
Talking on The Ellen Degeneres Show, Khloe confirmed that her sister, Kim Kardashian, isn't doing well following the violent robbery of her hotel room in France.
While in Paris for fashion week, a group of masked gunmen entered Kim's hotel suite, bound and gagged her, and pointed a gun to her head before stealing jewellery worth $14 million.
"She's not doing that well," Khloe told Ellen, who asked how Kim was going.
"It's incredibly traumatic what happened to her but our family is super close and great and we'll get through it together."
As for the Kardashians' out-of-character social media absence, Khloe said it comes back to the attack and protecting the family.
"[It's to] make sure we're protected as well as possible," she confirmed.
"I think [the robbery] is just a wake-up call to make a lot of life adjustments, but this is a really serious matter for Kim. I think that's really personal as to when [she could move on from] that emotional terror.
"We're a family, we'll do this together and I think it's important to maybe make those adjustments and to pull back a little bit."
Kim has not posted to her 84.8 million Instagram followers and 48 million Twitter fans since the incident. Filming for Keeping up with the Kardashians has also reportedly ceased, indefinitely.
While police are allegedly making progress in the case after discovering a piece of Kim's jewellery, they have not made any arrests in the case and the thieves have not been found.
