Keith Urban may have been 16,000 kilometers away from his wife Nicole Kidman on their 10 year anniversary, but he certainly didn’t forget about her!
The pair tried everything they could to be together for the milestone event, but when their touring and filming schedules got in the way, the pair settled for a facetime call.
Keith, who was on stage in Boston Massachusetts, called his wife while she was back in Australia with their two daughters Sunday Rose, 7, and Faith Margaret, 5.
"We booked the tour at the beginning of the year and June 25th was going to happen in Boston," he told fans.
"And so, I said to Nic, 'I can't work on our anniversary and so maybe we'll play Boston another time'.
"And she said, 'What about I come up to Boston instead?' I said, 'That's a great plan'."
But Nicole’s filming schedule for season two of Top of the Lake, got changed at the last minute and she wasn’t able to make it.
Keith called his wife in front of thousands of screaming fans saying “I love you baby, I’ll call you soon.”
Following the concert, Keith thanked fans for their love and support, saying: "It was an extra special night because it was our 10 year anniversary and you guys made the sweetest signs down in the front. It was amazing, thank you so much!!! - KU."
Meanwhile, Nicole paid tribute to her husband by posting this throw back picture of their first date.
"Throwback to 11 years ago, our first date. Happy 10-year Wedding Anniversary, wow! Love you more and more baby…"
Awww! Could these two be any cuter!?
Well, actually this video of the pair singing proves that they are pretty damn cute most of the time!
