Katie Price says it's "boring" that everyone thinks her new single is about her ex-husband.
The British star has just released new single 'Free To Love Again' - which is available to download now - and is adamant it isn't about her split from Peter Andre and says people need to "move on" like she has.
When asked if the lyrics are about Peter, Katie - who didn't write the track - said: "No, it's so boring people bringing up the ex. It's like move on from it, God. I'm allowed to do something that relates to everyone. Not everything I do has to relate back to him. It's just boring, I wish people would just drop it and get on with it."
Among the song's lyrics are the lines, "I'm not the one you're looking for, let me save you from your pain, It's time for me to let you go so you're free to love again."
Katie - who initially split from Peter, 37, in May 2009 - insists the song has nothing to do with any aspect of her life and is just a "great summer hit".
She said: "I didn't write the song, but it relates to everyone. I like the song that's why I wanted to do it. It's a great summer hit to do and it doesn't reflect anything in my life. It's just a song that anyone can relate to. Just because someone sings a song, it doesn't have to reflect on themselves. I think it has a great chorus, it's just a great upbeat summer tune."
And the 32-year-old star insists she has never been happier since her and husband Alex Reid's wedding blessing earlier this month.
Katie - who originally tied the knot with the 34-year-old cage-fighter in Las Vegas in February - told BANG Showbiz: "The difference is I am in love, I'm not free to love again. So the song doesn't relate to me. But you know it can relate to anyone."
