After receiving an onslaught of negative comments online about The Honest company’s sunscreen, Jessica Alba has spoken out with a heartfelt Instagram post.
Parents who purchased sunscreen from The Honest Company, became enraged on social media recently, claiming that Jessica's sunscreen range simply doesn't work.
Speaking about the complaints for the first time, Jessica shared a post along with a cute picture of her with her daughters on Instagram.
"Protecting our loved ones and yours is the reason we founded @honest. As parents, it pains us to hear that anyone has had a negative experience with our Sunscreen. We develop and use Honest Sunscreen to protect our own children – Honor, Haven, Luke, Evie, and Poppy – at the park, in the pool, outside, every day. As with everything we do, we take sun protection seriously here at Honest." She then asked readers to head to a blog post on the company website where she explained the process they went through to build the sunscreen and said that all SPF 30 testing requirements were met.
She also said her team was personally reaching out to everyone who contacted the company.
We’ve personally picked up the phone to speak with many of you who have called our customer service hotline. Our team is reaching out to everyone who has posted on social media to assure you that we’re committed to your safety and satisfaction.
