Is your style more Meghan Markle or Kate Middleton?

Find out which royal beauty has a wardrobe that aligns with yours.

The Meghan Markle effect is in full swing, with stores rapidly selling out of everything she's worn since her engagement to Prince Harry.

While we're readying ourselves for a winter of Meghan's slouch boots and wrap coats, we're also destined to see a lot of tweed and riding boots, à la the Duchess of Cambridge. Both women represent different looks, with Meghan's modern, monochrome palette offering a new alternative to Kate's ultra-feminine, pastel playbook. One thing is certain: these are two powerful and stylish women.

Which one is more you?

Meghan Markle

Meghan has already shown support for designers from her native Canada, with brands like Line The LabelMackage and Sentaler hailing from her homeland.

She's hasn't sported a lot of colour in her few months in the spotlight, heading for navy, camel, black and white.

Meghan is a casual girl who loves a good pair of jeans and, of course, a wrap coat! The style reflects Meghan's years in urban LA, where looking pared back and effortlessly chic on the streets (and red carpets) of Hollywood was kind of her jam.

Even her official engagement portraits offered something a bit alternative, with a sheer, bejewelled, black gown from Ralph & Russo - a far cry from the clean-cut, white dress worn by Kate in her engagement photos.

The look is laid back, the hair is toussled and you just know she raids Harry's closet for a shirt every now and then.

Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge

Kate knows what works for her and always plays to her petite figure. Royal followers could easily sketch a Kate Middleton dress in their minds: long or mid-length sleeves, an A-line skirt, a simple neck line and cinched at the waist.

Unlike Meghan's penchant for bulky coats and boots, Kate likes well-tailored designs with buttons or belts. She's certainly more classic British glamour than Meghan's trendy LA-vibes.

If you're like Kate, you'll love a pop of colour - blues and blush tones seem to be a recurring theme in her wardrobe, but she's also not averse to a vibrant red every now and then. She also enjoys cute details, with lots of lace, florals and understated but eye-catching jewellery.

When she's not fulfilling royal duties, slim trousers or jeans, a blazer and riding boots are her go-to. Think 'a day at the stables'. You're also likely to spot the Queen-to-be hitting the tennis court or running track in athletic wear.

Kate is feminine, fun and, like all good trend setters, knows her brand!
