Good Enough To Eat

Have you ever noticed that the kinder you are to your body, that is, the more sleep you have, the more water you drink and the better the quality of food that you eat, you don’t only feel better but your skin is clearer and brighter too?

It makes sense then doesn’t it that the more natural and pure the products that you use as part of your skincare regime, the closer you’ll be to achieving that porcelain, flawless kind of skin you typically see on the cover of magazines, only minus the airbrushing!

Organic has become the buzzword of the beauty industry with more and more companies and salons tapping into the appeal and benefits of holistic beauty
treatments. Created from herbs, fruits, flower buds and natural oils, organic products are not only an alternative to today’s chemical filled products, they also yield increased revitalizing and healing properties.

An organic facial will feel like any standard treatment you’ve experienced only the products will be free from the chemicals and harmful toxins contained in many currently available in the market. They’ll usually also be customised to suit your specific skincare needs, be they moisturizing, clearing or anti-aging. Often they’ll be made from ingredients you’d typically find in your home – oatmeal, honey, avocado and cucumber.

A growing number of day spas have incorporated organic beauty services and treatments into their treatment menus. In fact, you may have even already
experienced one without knowing or perhaps commented on the glowing effects that a friend has achieved through her own organic processes. Just to be
sure though, next time you book in for a facial, ask whether or not they have an organic option… you would never consider eating a concoction of harmful chemicals so why would you want to put one on your face?
