Dyson are opening their first hair salon in Australia

Since launching their sophisticated range of hair products, the vacuum brand opens their first store front for hair in Australia.

Dyson became a household name due to their elite range of powerful vacuum cleaners, but it wasn't too long until they noticed an opportunity to branch out into another industry. In 2016, the British company launched a range of hairdryers, curlers and straighteners which quickly became hugely successful.

With their hair products being as in demand as their home products, Dyson seized the opportunity to share the range to the public in their first ever store: a luxurious hair salon in Sydney's QVB. Intrigued? Here's what you need to know:

The Beauty Lab

As an elite brand, it makes sense that they would open their first store in an exceptional place, so it's fitting that their demo store sits on the first level in Sydney's historic Queen Victoria Building.

Named The Beauty Lab, one-hour appoinments can be made online to experience two particular products: the Dyson Airwrap styler and the Dyson Supersonic hairdryer.

The full experience

For only $50, you can choose three styles from each product. The Dyson supersonic hairdryer offers a modern ponytail, smooth and straightened or voluminous curls.

If you opt for Dyson Airwrap styler, you can have a vintage wave, a windswept look or loose Australian beach waves.

Whichever you choose, the professional hair dresser will create your new look from start to finish.

You'll even be offered a complimentary drink on arrival, so you can sip your mimosa while getting a new do without breaking the bank.

And the best part? If you love the results and want to purchase either of these products, your appointment will be free of charge.
