Drew Barrymore Releases Heartbreaking Statement About Her Divorce

Hearts shattered over the weekend after the world learned Drew Barrymore and her husband, Will Kopelman, were getting a divorce.

Drew and Will were married in 2012 and have two children together.

The pair have since released a statement confirming their split.

"Sadly our family is separating legally, although we do not feel this takes away from us being a family," it read.

"Divorce might make one feel like a failure, but eventually you start to find grace in the idea that life goes on.

"Our children are our universe, and we look forward to living the rest of our lives with them as the first priority."

After the news broke, Drew made a strong gesture toward her two daughters and had their names - Olive, aged 3, and Frankie, 1 - tattooed on her wrist.
