David Beckham Hits Back at Claims of Bad Parenting

David Beckham has taken to Instagram to hit back at claims of bad parenting by The Daily Mail.

The former soccer star posted a screenshot of an article by The Daily Mail to his 10.1 million followers on Instagram, claiming bad parenting of daughter Harper, 4.

So-called parenting experts warned that allowing a four-year-old to still use a pacifier may lead to speech and dental issues.

David, 40, was quick to defend himself via the social media site:

"Why do people feel they have the right to criticise a parent about their own children without having any facts?? Everybody who has children knows that when they aren't feeling well or have a fever you do what comforts them best and most of the time it's a pacifier so those who criticise think twice about what you say about other people's children because actually you have no right to criticise me as a parent."
