Move over Tom Hiddleston! There's another James Bond in town!
Chris Hemsworth has revealed he would be more than happy to fill the shoes of James Bond.
In an interview with Foxtel magazine, Chris admitted he would "jump at" the chance to play the iconic British spy.
"I don't know many who wouldn't jump at that," Chris said. "Would it be scary and daunting? Of course. But, what isn't?"
Chris, 32, is currently in Australia filming the third installment of Marvel's Thor franchise - but he's not the only person on the set gunning for the Bond spot!
In fact, there are two other actors in Thor: Ragnarök with their eye on the part.
Tom Hiddleston (yes, the one dating Taylor Swift!) has long been considered a front-runner for the role, particularly following the mini-series The Night Manager, in which Tom plays - you guessed it - a British spy.
He is currently reprising his role as Thor's brother and nemesis, Loki.
Fellow suave Englishman, Idris Elba, is another James Bond hopeful - and currently occupies the role of Heimdall in the Thor trilogy.
Now that's a lot of (very attractive) competition on one film set!
The question of who will play James Bond has been high on the list of Hollywood rumours since Daniel Craig indicated he wouldn't be returning to the role following the 2015 release of his fourth Bond film, Spectre.
While the part is traditionally British, Chris wouldn't be the first Australian to don the Bond tuxedo!
Aussie actor George Lazenby played the part in the 1969 Bond film, On Her Majesty's Secret Service.
