Not only are they the world's hottest brothers (in our humble opinion) - it seems they're the nicest too!
In a new interview with Entertainment Tonight online, the eldest Hemsworth, Luke, has revealed how his little brother helped him achieve his dreams of becoming a Hollywood actor.
The 36-year-old is now one of the stars of HBO's hugely popular Westworld series. While he was acting well before his siblings Chris, 33, and Liam, 26, landed big roles in LA, it seems he sidelined his showbiz ambitions to provide financial security for his young family.
“For me, I did Neighbours, then my focus changed," Luke told ET. "I wanted to have something that could provide money while still allowing time for auditions. So, I learned the flooring business, started my own, and in that time, got married and had a couple of kids.”
However, the lure of Hollywood played on the young father's mind and around the time Chris got his break in Thor he decided perhaps it was time to sell his business, move to L.A., and try his hand at full-time acting again.
"Watching him [Chris] go through all that [early success] crystallized in my mind that it was what I wanted to do. And that I couldn’t stay sanding floors for the rest of my life!”
That's where his little brother stepped in to help. When Chris' personal trainer was unable to join him on the set of Thor, he asked his fitness fanatic brother Luke to take on the gig.
“I didn’t have any qualifications, but I was always heavily into training, so it was a no-brainer for me,” Luke says. “It was an amazing setup and allowed me to save enough money to come here with my family, which was the next logical step. Without that, we just wouldn’t have been able to afford to do it.”
After the move, Luke experienced disappointment when a lead role on a pilot show fell through, but this only increased his motivation to succeed. “It’s heartbreaking at the time,” he admitted. “But it definitely made me stronger."
Eventually, Luke landed the role on Westworld and has been thrust into the Hollywood spotlight alongside his famous Aussie brothers. When he's not working, Luke loves to spend time with the family - he now has four gorgeous kids - hosting barbecues on his LA. balcony and surfing or working out in his home gym with Liam (um... can we come hang out, too?)
And the key lesson he's learnt from his brothers' success and celebrity status is to "focus on the work" and his stable family life. He adds: "The kids are the most important thing. Nothing else matters".
Awwww. We love you handsome Hemsworths! You can do no wrong!
One more pic, because... *SWOON*
