Rachael Finch, gorgeous model, TV presenter, mum and Vitasoy Ambassador, shares her beauty and fitness secrets.
As a regular to the red carpet, Rachael knows the importance of looking and feeling good. With summer just around the corner, and many of us wanting to shed a few extra kilos before we attempt to put on that bikini, who better to ask for a few health and beauty tips?!
What is the book next to your bed?
I just bought Cameron Diaz’ book ‘The Body Book’ and it’s on my bedside table. I enjoy reading about other peoples' health and wellness philosophies.
I like the feeling of…
Violet (Rachael's daughter with husband Michael Miziner) laughing. Nothing will match that.
My favourite summer workouts are…
I love taking advantage of the temperature, fresh air and sunshine over summer so I try to get outside most days to work out. Ocean swimming would be my number one pick in warmer months, there’s something so empowering about diving into the waves at Bondi!
Stranded on an island I would pack my...
Camera, Speedo bikini, and take my husband and Violet with me.
My next dream holiday destination is…
Vietnam! I’ve wanted to go for a while and lots of people have told me how amazing and unexpected it is. I love a mix of water and stunning landscape on a dream holiday so it’s certainly next on the list.
My top tips to get ‘Bikini-Body-Ready’ are…
I think body confidence comes from finding balance and inner wellbeing. Eating a balanced diet, exercising, getting enough sleep, laughing, being creative and spirituality contribute to overall health. I don’t believe in deprivation – it’s when we deprive ourselves from something that we crave it more. I also enjoy making smoothies that tick off all the boxes. One of my favourites has banana, mango, spinach, cacoa, maca powder and Vitasoy Coconut Milk. Yum!
What is always in your handbag?
Healthy snacks, my diary, camera, headphones, lip gloss and baby wipes. Not to mention the one million and one other things!
Who's your style icon?
I really admire the style of Audrey Hepburn. I think she was classic, chic and absolutely timeless.
