Black Eyed Peas Re-Release 'Where is the Love?'

A lot of famous people signed on to help Black Eyed Peas reboot their breakout hit for a new generation.

The Black Eyed Peas have re-released their early noughties classic, 'Where is the Love?' with the help of some big celebrity names.

Kendall Jenner, Jessie J, Joel Madden, Vanessa Hudgens, Snoop Dogg, Nicole Scherzinger, Usher and Jamie Foxx were among the big names who put their faces and voices behind the song.

Will.i.Am explained the group decided to release a new version of the song after realising it was perhaps more relevant than ever.

"I remember when the Paris attack happened, people would say, we need ‘Where Is The Love?’" he told Rolling Stone.

"And then Belgium happened. And then Turkey, and then Orlando, and then Philando, and Alton before him, and then Dallas. Everyone was calling on us, like, ‘we need that song again.’

"I hope this song inspires the millennials to go all out. Scream from the tallest mountain. Care like your freedom depends on it. Pay attention like that is at risk."

Today, the song hit the internet with a whole new sound and meaning for 2016.

The song retained one thing, and that's the smoothe vocal support of Justin Timberlake who returned to sing the iconic chorus.

The sure-fire hit focuses on the war in Syria, the Black Lives Matter movement and the ongoing problem of police brutality against Africa Americans in the US.

Welcome back, Black Eyed Peas. What a way to return!
