What would you say about your appearance prior to the Makeover?
Prior to the makeover I would describe my appearance as drab drab drab! Having given birth to my second child three months before the makeover I was dressing in a mixture of maternity clothes that were too big and pre-pregnancy clothes that I had had for years and had been worn to death. I knew I needed to update my wardrobe but the thought of going shopping was just too overwhelming. I didn’t know where to start. My style was safe, boring and predictable. My wardrobe consisted of safe basics that said nothing about my personality and certainly didn’t show off my body to its full potential.

What was the BEST part of the Makeover?
The best part of the makeover was my brand new hair do! I would never have had the courage to change my hairstyle so dramatically. With my fine hair I never thought I could ever pull that style off. My hairstyle has always been safe and boring but since the makeover I have had so many positive comments about how great my hair looks!! Everyone LOVES it! Including me!
Even on the day after the fashion show, I had complete strangers coming up to me staying how fantastic I looked. Those compliments really boosted my self esteem and meant even more than those from my family and friends.

What was the WORST part of the Makeover?
Well after styling me in my outfit for the show it became clear that there were no shoes small enough that went with my outfit. As a result I had to try to walk in mega high stilettos that were half a size too big. Even with multiple inner soles I really struggled to keep them on during the cat walk…in fact they actually slipped off while I was walking which was a little stressful. I thought I was going to fall over in front of everyone. I stress I could have done without. I just hope it wasn’t too obvious and I managed to ‘work it’ on the runway!

What was the best advice Trinny & Susannah gave you?
The best advice Trinny and Susannah gave me was to always show off my small waist, get out of the flats and into the heels and just because I’m a mum does not mean I need to stop dressing sexily.

How has the Makeover changed your life?

The makeover has given me the confidence to move away from basic safe clothing items and look at clothing items that I never would have looked at before, ensuring that I ALWAYS show off my best bits!
