Fans are mourning the separation of their favourite celebrity couple, Brangelina.
Angelina reportedly filed the paperwork, citing irreconcilable differences and seeking physical custody of the pair's six children. PEOPLE reports Brad will maintain legal custody and visitation rights.
Court documents reportedly confirm the couple has been separated since September 15.
Ange's divorce laywer, Robert Offer, confirmed the news of the divorce in a statement:
"This decision was made for the health of the family. She will not be commenting, and asks that the family be given its privacy at this time."

Meanwhile, Brad has released his own statement, also asking the press to respect the privacy of his children.
"I am very saddened by this but what matters most now is the well-being of our kids," Pitt wrote. "I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time."

The couple has not confirmed the precise reason for their split, however, TMZ speculates Ange was "fed up" with Brad's alleged marijuana and alcohol consumption, as well as a supposed "anger problem".
Meanwhile, others suggested Brad's latest co-star, Marion Cotillard, was a factor in the split. A source has denied these claims to PEOPLE.
Brad and Angelina began dating in 2005, after meeting on the set of their 2003 film, Mr and Mrs Smith.
Their early relationship was plagued by tabloid gossip, with many speculating Ange was the reason Brad ended his marriage to Jennifer Aniston.
Brangelina, as Brad and Ange came to be known, finally married in 2014 after a decade of dating.
Their six children - Maddox, 14, and Pax, 11, Zahara, 10, Shiloh, 9, Knox, 7, and Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, 7 - all attended their parent's intimate wedding, even helping design and decorate mum's dress.
