Alex Perry at Fashion Week

On Tuesday night (May 4, 2010) LifeStyle YOU put its best party dress on and attended the Alex Perry Spring / Summer 2010/11 at Fox Studios in Sydney.

Said to be the biggest fashion show in the history of Australian Fashion Week, it certainly was big and bold with over 1000 attendees. Famous faces included Jodi Gordon and Braith Anasta, Catriona Rowntree, Erin McNaught, Erika Heynatz and Gracie Otto who braved the cold in mini dresses.

Inside the huge hanger a 65-metre runway was set up to show off the designs from his Arabian Princess Collection. Celebrity hair stylist Renya Xydis and makeup guru Napoleon Perdis created a princess inspired look and VIPs were treated to an after party with a special edition of the gorgeous Glasshouse candle “Arabian Princess”.

The designs were slightly more riskay than we are used to seeing from Alex with short sequinned dresses and animal print jackets stealing the spotlight. We loved the tulle numbers which looked like a dream to wear!
