Adele Visits Young Fan with Cerebral Palsy

Adele may be one of the most successful musicians in the world right now, but she still makes time for those in need.

The 27-year-old 'Hello' singer made a little girl's day recently when she paid her a special visit.

Twelve-year-old Rebecca Gibney from Ireland suffers cerebral palsy and epilespy, and she cannot walk or talk.

However, according to Rebecca's mum Tracy her bed-bound daughter "listens to Adele from [when] she gets up in the morning until her bed time."

A couple of days ago, Tracy started a change.org petition in the hope Adele would Facetime Rebecca or send her a video.

Adele went further than that - surprising the little girl at her home.

"It happened!!! Thank you so much for liking and sharing everyone," Tracy wrote on Facebook. "I'm overwhelmed and couldn't be any happier for my baby, still in shock! Adele is just amazing xx."
