Adele took home four Brit Awards last night and made a point of mentioning Kesha while on stage.
After accepting the award for Best Female Solo Artist, Adele expressed her support for Kesha, whose recent bid to sever a record contract with a man who allegedly abused her was denied in court.
"I'd also like to take this moment to publicly support Kesha," she told the adoring crowd.
Adele also thanked the other women in her category and her management for "embracing the fact that I'm a woman and being encouraged by it."
Adele is the latest in a long line of celebs, including Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift and Lena Dunham, who have publicly declared their support for Kesha.
Meanwhile, Kesha broke her silence following the court ruling on Saturday, posting a message of gratitude to her followers on Facebook.
"I'm so, so beyond humbled and thankful for all of the support I've received from everyone," she began.
"All I ever wanted was to be able to make music without being afraid, scared, or abused. This case has never been about a renegotiation of my record contract – it was never about getting a bigger, or a better deal. This is about being free from my abuser."
