Grab a tissue box and brace your emotions - your favourite 80s film is getting a remake!
In 1988, Bette Midler shattered hearts and inspired karaoke ballads as CC Bloom in the emotionally torturous but beautiful film, Beaches.
Now, the Oscar-nominated film is getting a remake - and Midler's replacement has already been cast!
Filling Bette's shoes is the highly-talented Frozen star, Idina Menzel.
The Grammy and Tony award-winner is best known for her leading role in the musical Rent, and as the voice of Queen Elsa in Disney's Frozen.
Idina, a Broadway native, will no doubt bring the house down with her updated versions of Beaches' soundtrack hits, 'Wind Beneath My Wings' and 'The Glory of Love'.
The star has already said she "can't wait" to start filming the Beaches remake.
The original film, directed by the late Gary Marshall, tells the platonic love story between two lifelong friends, played by Bette Midler and Barbara Hershey.
The rest of the remake cast is yet to be announced.
We can't wait to see this one!
