During the winter months, we all want to look our best, but sometimes it's hard to rug up and still look fabulous.
We chat to Caitlin Murray from Raglan Street Wears and get her top tips for staying stylish this winter!
1. What's your top tip for winter dressing?
Invest in neutral coloured winter wardrobe staples and Inject colour through accessories. Wear a bright colour pop scarf, or a beanie with a colourful pom pom. This way you can mix up your winter look every day by just choosing a different combo of bright accessories
2. What do you think is a big no-no when it comes to winter styling?
Being fashion lazy in winter. It's easy to not be excited about fashion when you wake up and its freezing. You almost feel like wearing your track pants to work (we've all been there). But winter fashion is very exciting! You can wear so many beautiful knitted and woolen pieces you can't wear any other time of the year. It's a time to express yourself through clothing.

3. What are some of your favourite winter clothing trends this year?
This winter's stand out trend has to be chunky knits! The chunkier the better. Not just scarves, but chunky oversized jumpers and beanies too. This also is great for any DIY knitters out there as chunky wool is a great yarn to learn to knit with as it knits up easily and quickly
4. What's your top tip for wearing layers?
Be creative!. That cute denim pinafore dress you wear in spring? Wear it over the top of leggings and a knit jumper. Then put a coat over the top! Oh and a scarf!
5. What's your favourite way to style/wear a scarf?
I recommend you wear a scarf in the 'pretzel wrap', as it keeps you the most warm. Wrap the scarf around your neck once or twice and let the ends drape down your front (as demonstrated in the picture below). This keeps your neck and body warm. Oh and try Gary Pepper Girl's belted scarf when you are feeling adventurous.
6. What do you love about wool?
I knit with Australian wool every day and just love every aspect of it. It's not just super warm, it also regulates your body temperature by absorbing any moisture and releasing it out of the garment. Woollen garments are also durable, meaning you can wear them for a lifetime. Wool is also one of the most renewable and sustainable fibres to produce, which is such an important factor in creating eco sustainable fashion.
