Coles is squaring up to ALDI by launching a mega-sale in a bid to rival ALDI's Special Buys success.
Coles has started running its own Best Buys deal for the first time - selling a range of cookware at exactly the same time as the ALDI cookware Special Buys sale.
The surprise deals launched on Friday in a number of stores across Victoria and Western Australia, with more to follow soon.
And Coles really mean business. Some of their range of cookware is being sold at amazing markdown prices - with some prices being slashed by 80 per cent.
Cast iron pots from $24.99, air fryers for $69.99, frying pans and dutch ovens are all available in the mass markdown sale.
In Victoria, the Best Buys are available at stores at Oakleigh, Brimbank, Dandenong, Roxburgh Park, Traralgon, Waurn Ponds, Sunbury, Craigieburn, Cranbourne Park, South Morang, Lavington and Shepparton.
In Western Australia, shoppers visiting Maddington, Forest Lakes, Beechboro, Bassendean, Innaloo, Dianella, Warnbro, Haynes, Wanneroo, Mirrabooka, Bunbury, Lakelands, Whitford, Kalamunda and Gosnells stores can ginf the special deals, as long as stocks last.
Coles cookware sale
Coles Best Buys is is set to launch across the country in the coming weeks, with new products going on sale regularly.
Coles General Manager for Health and Home Jonathan Torr said he wanted to provide affordable ranges of homewares for shoppers.
“Customers have told us they love it when they can get all of their needs in the one store,” he said.
“We’ve already trialled similar products in a small number of stores and customer feedback was very positive both on the quality of the products as well as the value for money.”
