Prince Harry is 'trapped' and 'awkward' according to expert

Prince Harry appears "trapped" and "awkward" during a video call with wife Meghan Markle, according to a body language expert.

Harry and Meghan took part in a virtual meeting about the Queen's Commonwealth Trust where Harry admitted the Commonwealth needed to acknowledge its "past wrongs".

In the video, Prince Harry said that the Commonwealth, which is led by his grandmother, the Queen needed to address some deep and serious issues.

"When you look across the Commonwealth, there is no way that we can move forward unless we acknowledge the past,” he said.

"So many people have done such an incredible job of acknowledging the past and trying to right those wrongs, but I think we all acknowledge there is so much more still to do.

"It's not going to be easy and in some cases it's not going to be comfortable, but it needs to be done, because, guess what, everybody benefits," he added.

But it was not just his words that resonated with royal watchers, body language expert Judi James told the Daily Mail, that Prince Harry looked "awkward" and he "spoke down to the floor" throughout the conversation.

She said his position at the very edge of the frame made it appear as though he was "trapped".

Many social media users agreed, saying the video made them "uncomfortable" with some going as far as to say Prince Harry looked like he was being "held hostage" during the call.

However, others simply wanted to hear what the couple had to say and now how they said it. .

“Oh y'all just can't help yourselves can you... Harry seems just fine... happy actually & tanned!" said one. "Harry was trapped by the Royal family, now he's free to say & do as he pleases & that just pisses you off doesn't it."

Meanwhile Judi thinks Harry spent the time trying to "reflect" on his comments, appearing to suddenly realise the impact of the words he'd just spoken.

"Meghan is mesmerising but Harry either repeats her words or adds a "Yeah" after she makes a point," Judi said.

"Unlike his wife, who adopts the solid eye-gaze that suggests active listening and devotion while he does speak, Harry even looks slightly awkward, gazing to his right and out of shot as she speaks before looking down at the floor."
