Prince George and Princess Charlotte shop for Halloween costumes

As we gear up to celebrate the spooky holiday, the royals are also preparing for Halloween.

The Duchess of Cambridge popped into a Sainsbury's with Prince George and Princess Charlotte to look for some Halloween outfits.

The trio were spotted browsing the costumes, but no photos were taken due to tight security.

However, Kate did reportedly ask some other children at the store what they were going to dress up as for Halloween.

Onlooker, Kathy Whittaker told The Mirror she was quite excited to see the royals out and about doing "normal" stuff.

"She was with Charlotte and George looking at Halloween outfits, but her bodyguard was kind of watching people with phones and telling them no pictures," she told The Mirror. "It was so lovely to see her, she is always beautiful... You just don't expect it to happen, you think Kate would shop in Waitrose or Harrods."

Although Kathy didn't see what the Duchess purchased, we hope they share some photos of Prince George and Princess Charlotte in their Halloween gear!
