One week after announcing he has Coronavirus, Prince Charles has broken his silence on his condition.
The 71-year-old future king shared a heartfelt video saying he’s now on ‘the other side’ of the virus.
“Having recently gone through this process of contracting the coronavirus, I now find myself on the other side of this illness, but still in no less a state of social distance and general isolation,” he said in the video shared by Clarence House.

Prince Charles says he is now recovered and out of isolation, seven days after announcing he had contracted the virus.
His wife, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, tested negative for the virus but remains in isolation to ensure she doesn’t start to show symptoms.
“As we are all learning, this is a strange, frustrating and often distressing experience when the presence of family and friends is no longer possible and the normal structures of life are suddenly removed.
“At such an unprecedented and anxious period in all our lives, my wife and I are thinking particularly of all of those who have lost their loved ones in such very difficult and abnormal circumstances and of all of those who are having to endure sickness, isolation, and loneliness.”
Throughout his video message, Prince Charles also paid respect to healthcare workers and those working in hospitals and aged care.
He ended his video on a positive note, calling for the world to remain hopeful in these trying times.
“None of us can say when this will end, but end it will. Until it does, let’s try and live with hope and faith, in ourselves and each other, [and] look forward to better times to come.”
