Longer and lighter for summertime!
Both headlining ladies of the royal family have decided to take the plunge and refresh their looks post-COVID.
Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, was seen via video call from her home in LA, as she gave a speech at the virtual Girl Up Leadership Summit 2020.
Her lovely dark hair is now much longer than at previous appearances. Also, rather than her normal gentle wave or chic up-do, the American Duchess donned a sleek, pin-straight style with distinct layering falling around her face.

Speaking to People magazine, a friend said that Meghan's "California roots are coming through." Her new, modern hairstyle could reflect her embracing her new life in Los Angeles with Prince Harry and their son, Archie.
Similarly, the Duchess of Cambridge debuted a new hairdo for a BBC interview about Tiny Happy People, a literacy program Kate supports. As UK COVID-period business restrictions have recently been relieved, it seems Kate indulged in a bit of well-deserved pampering.
The Duchess has updated her natural wavy brunette locks, seen in video chats during isolation, to a sun-kissed bronde tone. Her new lighter hair was styled in a polished blowout, with cascading, shorter face-framing layers.
This highlighted blonde/brown colour is not unfamiliar to Kate. In the Autumn of last year, the Duchess also experimented with a lighter tone.
