Kensington Palace releases new photos of Prince Louis for his first birthday

Prince Louis has turned one! To celebrate, his parents have released three gorgeous new photos.

In the blink of an eye The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s youngest child, Prince Louis has turned one.

The littlest royal (that is until his little cousin baby Sussex arrives!) turned one on April 23.

In the series of photos the little royal smiled sweetly as he posed for his mum Catherine Middleton, who captured the shots at their home in Norfolk, England.

Kensington Palace shared the pictures on their social media pages in honour of his milestone birthday, much to the delight of royal fans.

In the adorable pictures, Prince Louis can be seen reaching out to the camera and smiling, wearing two different cute knitted jumpers.

This is the first time we have seen Prince Louis in solo shots. Up until now, we’ve seen rare glimpses of him with his siblings at his christening and in the official family portraits honouring his Grandfather, Prince Charles for his 70th birthday.

The cute little royal is fifth in line to the throne behind his grandfather Prince Chalres, his dad the Duke of Cambridge and siblings Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
