Just a few days ago Camilla Parker-Bowles cancelled her attendance at an event alongside the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Camilla was scheduled to visit the 91st Field of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, but had to make a last minute cancellation.
The Duchess of Cornwall had to pull out of her official duties as Patron of the Poppy Factory due to a chest infection.
Had she been able to make the day, Camilla would have joined Harry and Meghan as they lay a Cross of Remembrance at the Field of Remembrance, visit the memorial plots and meet with the Armed Forces veterans.
Official word of Camilla's absence released in an official statement from Clarence House: "The Duchess of Cornwall has been told by her doctor to cancel her engagements owing to a chest infection which has got progressively worse over the last few days she will therefore not be at today’s event with Harry and Meghan."
Royal correspondent Rebecca English tweeted this statement along with the fact that Camilla was "deeply disappointed" to miss out on the event.
Had she been able to attend, this occasion would have marked the first time Camilla had appeared at an event solely with Harry and Meghan.
