I Own Australia's Best Home

The Winner of 'I Own Australia's Best Home' is the Surf's Up Stone House

Congratulations to Australia's Best Home!

After a tense finale episode, the judges chose the stunning 'Surf's Up Stone House' in the northern Sydney suburb of Bilgola to take the title of Australia's Best Home.

Along with the title, the home's owners, Lorica and Andrew Clarke, received $30,000 to donate to charity, electing the Kids Cancer Centre at Sydney Children's Hospital as the recipient.

The charity holds a very special place for the family, whose son was treated for cancer at the facility for three years.

"We are ecstatic!” Lorica told Foxtel.  “For our home to be so warmly received by the judges and the viewers is wonderful. Our architect, Nanna Lesiuk, did a masterful job, giving our home its beauty and aesthetic, and it gives me great joy to see this work be recognised."

Lorica and Andrew bought the house 20 years ago, and renovated two years ago, but retaining the character and style of the original building.

The ultimate beach haven boasts stunning oceanfront views, a glass pool and a basement nightclub, beloved by the couple's three growing children!

Host, Tim Leveson, spent the night at the home, agreeing it is an ideal Aussie property.

"Lorica and Andrew’s 'Surf’s Up Stone House' is the quintessential Australian dream home, with the essence of the property being about fun and family,” Tim said.

“This series has always been about what makes a great home to live in – and there’s bucketloads of fun and liveability here, from the disco floor to the ocean view pool and the delicate way it balances family life with areas for privacy.”

Congratulations to the Clarke family - owners of Australia's Best Home!
