The former model and her family are moving on up!
Australian A-lister Jennifer Hawkins and her husband Jake Wall have finally sold their beautiful mansion in Newport, Sydney, six months after popping it on the market.
Like many Australians, the celebrity couple have faced a hard slog trying to find a new home owner during the coronavirus pandemic.
According to Domain, Jennifer and her property developer husband eventually found a buyer who would be willing to fork out their asking price of $20 million.
On June 29, listing agent Ken Jacobs confirmed the family's waterfront property as 'sold' online.
The former Miss Australia listed their home for sale in November 2019, only weeks after the arrival of her first child, daughter Frankie Violet.
In the home is five spacious bedrooms, a modern kitchen, boasting marble benchtops. On the outside, the family home has an al fresco dining area, bar, pizza oven, barbecue, sunken lounge, boat shed, jetty and L-shaped infinity pool.
Speaking to The Daily Telegraph in April, Ken said that COVID-19 restrictions had impacted the couple's opportunity to sell their property.
"It's in a holding pattern of sorts," he told the publication.
"It's an issue of getting access. We would normally do inspections by appointment only anyway, but there is now the question of verifying with buyers where they have travelled."
"It's going to be really sad to say goodbye to this beautiful home and location," Jennifer told Domain in the past.
"We really made some amazing memories here but I'm looking forward to designing a house with Jake with a similar aesthetic closer to family."
And that's completely understandable. Congratulations to the happy family!
