10 best Grand Designs Australia homes ever

Kevin McCloud and Peter Maddison join forces for the first time ever.

Grand Designs Australia is back, and what better way to celebrate than looking at the most memorable properties from the past seven years?

Grand Designs Australia has inspired us since episode one of the first series, which followed the heart-warming story of Chris Clarke from Victoria’s Callignee.

Chris's dream home had just burnt to the ground in the Black Saturday bush fires and the episode followed his courageous 18-month rebuild.

His inspiring determination resulted in a phenomenally artistic home, which became the iconic starting point of an amazing Australian series.

Over 60 diverse builds later, which homes did UK host Kevin McCloud pick as the best of the best?

In this special, Kevin picks 10 remarkable houses and finds out what has happened to them and their owners since filming finished.
