Pet Photographers Tell ‘Tails’ to Help RSPCA

Proud pet-owners have put their furry and feathered friends to good use in a brand new book that has already raised $35,000 for charity.

‘Pet Tails’ is a book of pet portraits developed in conjunction with RSPCA Victoria. More than 150 of Victoria’s most-loved pet personalities, including Arnie the budgy (pictured) have been captured through beautiful photography, each accompanied by a short tale about the pet.

Pet Tails has already raised over $35,000 for the RSPCA, and a proportion of the profits from every copy sold will add to this. The money raised will help more than 37,000 animals that come into RSPCA Victoria’s care each year.

One of the Pet Tails photographers, Anna Clemann, said, “We had so much fun doing Pet Tails. It was great to meet new animal lovers with interesting stories about their pets. The biggest challenge was to capture pets being themselves, and we’re pleased that the pet owners thought we did this so well. We’re all thrilled the project has already been so successful for RSPCA Victoria.”
