Tim Francis takes us inside his program, A Taste of Paradise.
Supporting young people in difficult circumstances, whether they be related to mental, behavioural, or drug and alcohol related issues, A Taste of Paradise uses plants and animals to creatively transform people's lives.
Here we take a look inside the program.
How long do troubled young people stay?
Over the period of a week, A Taste of Paradise can have 26+ young people attending the farm. Most students are from the Illawarra and Shoalhaven region, that take part in a day program not run anywhere else.
What do young people gain from coming to A Taste of Paradise?
The students will not only learn new skills, but realise that someone is prepared to stand alongside them and encourage without judgment.
