You can return your dead plants to Bunnings

While we all purchase plants with the best intentions of building a thriving garden oasis, sometimes things don’t go exactly to plan.

If you're not exactly known for your pro-planting skills and have accidently killed a few Fiddle-leaf figs in your time, this news will be the best thing you'll hear all week!

Bunnings Warehouse will happily exchange your dead plants for live ones as part of their ‘perfect plant promise’.

Although this policy has been around for a while, no one really knew it existed. That was until one keen greenthumb pointed it out - quickly sending the news viral.

The hardware giant allows customers to return plants up to 12 months after purchasing them. All you have to do is present the plant and the receipt -- total game changer!

“All our plants (except seedlings) are guaranteed for 12 months. If you’re not 100% happy, return your plant (with receipt or tax invoice) and we’ll refund it,” the Bunnings website states.

The plant will be looked over by a Bunnings nursery staff member, who will determine whether you’re eligible for a refund or a replacement on a case-by-case basis.

Building your dream garden oasis or indoor plant sanctuary can be a pricey project, so next time you’re at Bunnings don’t be afraid to splash some cash on another Devils Ivy. You can always return it!
