You can now get a little piece of the Easter Show at your local Woolies!
If you thought you would miss out on your favourite showbag this year, you’re in luck.
You can still get your hands on a showbag and celebrate the yearly tradition.
Partnering with Bensons Showbags, Woolworths now has a range of popular showbags available in store.
After the beloved Easter Show was cancelled this year to assist in the efforts to combat Coronavirus, the retail giant has released a collection of 12 themed showbags all retailing for $30 each.
The collection includes, Bakugan, Barbie, Friends, Hatchimals, Harry Potter, Hot Wheels, LOL, Paw Patrol, Peter Rabbit, PJ Masks, Pokemon and Stranger Things.
“While we know Easter will be different this year, many Australian families will still be looking for ways to celebrate,” Woolworths NSW General Manager, Michael Mackenzie said.
“With familiar traditions more important than ever during this challenging time, we wanted to do something special for those that have been left disappointed by the Sydney Royal Easter Show’s cancellation.
“We are pleased our customers will still be able to purchase these showbags in our stores, and hope it can continue to bring a little bit of joy to family homes over the Easter weekend.”
The showbags are available across 210 NSW stores. The entire Bensons Showbag range will be available at 95 stores.
“While a small act, we hope the range being made available brings big smiles to Australians this Easter period. The many would-be show-goers can now still tap into their inner Barbie or love of Hot Wheels by nabbing a showbag while they last.”
