In a surprising mashup, Philadelphia cream cheese has released a Caramilk flavour.
Caramilk is the golden caramel chocolate bar that was discontinued by Cadbury back in 1994. After a brief comeback in early 2018, it has returned to shelves by popular demand and, to the shock of fans across Australia, it has also taken on a new form.
You can now spread your favourite chocolate bar with the new Caramilk inspired Philadephia cream cheese.
Pictures of the indulgent dairy collaboration were originally posted in the Facebook group ‘Caramilk Addicts’. Since then, social media has been blowing up with the Caramilk news.
One fan commented: “WHAT?! Eat that straight out of the tub with a spoon!” Another sees the endless potential of the partnership: “OMG! Caramilk cheesecake!”
Unfortunately, nothing gold can stay. The sweet spread can be found exclusively at Woolworths for a limited time.
“Following on from Australia’s obsession with Cadbury Caramilk, we’re proud to offer Philadelphia’s special edition Caramilk inspired cream cheese,” said a Woolworths spokesperson.
While some locations have not put it out on their shelves yet, those that have are said to already be selling out. So, if you want a taste of the Caramilk spreadable goodness, get to your local Woolies while stocks last!
