'Too hot for a wedding': Woman's risque outfit causing havoc online

Has she just upstaged the bride?

An unassuming wedding guest has caused quite the debate online after attending a friend's wedding, looking what some believe to be "too hot."

Reddit user u/pinacolada12345 took to the website to ask a valid question. Posting a simple photo of a couple who attended a wedding with their faces blacked out - the user asked if the woman's red dress was too racy for such an occassion.

"Hot wedding guests, but talk about stealing attention from the bride with that sheer dress!" the caption read.

The woman in question is seen donning a red dress which includes see-through lace panels on the torso and another from the her mid-thigh to the bottom of the dress.

The post was inundated with feedback and several Reddit users went to town on the woman - saying her outfit was deemed "inappropriate" for another woman's wedding day.

"This seems a little inappropriate for a family gathering. You have to dress for the event. It’s a nice dress but not the right place to wear it," one commented.

"Yes, I think it's a really striking dress, but not for a wedding," another agreed.

Some even found the situation comical, writing: "OOF, someone is making a STATEMENT with that dress! If I had a bod like that I'd dress like that every damn day. However, I feel like she's gotta have some beef with the bride, that dress way too hot for a wedding lol."

One more commenter even compared the woman's red gown to 'lingerie.'

However, some stuck up for the woman.

"Eh, I actually love this dress. It’s stunning, the lace is long enough for it to be appropriate and she’s covered in all the right places. Sadly I could never fit into something like this, but if one of my gorgeous friends wore it to my wedding I’d tell them they look beautiful."
