An extremely organised woman from Perth has hacked the IKEA PAX Wardrobe into a beautifully presented pantry and people are loving her style.
“This is an awesome use of space,” one fan said. While another commented, “oh the order and neatness of it all!”
Melanie says she's been "totally blown away" by the response she's recieved to her hack.
"Up to this point my business worked predominantly from word of mouth," she tells LifeStyle.
"It started when I helped a friend out who was just overwhelmed with working mum life and was desperately looking for some organisation. As friends of her's saw what had been created and how easy it was for her to maintain, I found my business slowly growing.
"Since the post though, I’ve been inundated with enquiries! It all seems a bit surreal to be honest."
Using a $450 IKEA PAX Wardrobe, she’s decked it out with drawers and shelving included beautifully styled containers and baskets from Kmart and Freedom.
Each shelf or drawer is beautifully styled and perfectly organised with every container or basket clearly labelled.
Making great use of space, the pantry fits seamlessly into her kitchen and presents everything on elevated levels, making things easy to find.
Although Melanie makes it look easy, doing up a pantry is a lot of hard work.
"It's so much more than you realise," She says. "But once you do it you will save so much time and money as everything is easy to find. No more buying three packets of the same flour because you know what you already have and can easily find it."
While pantry styling is her speciality, Melanie says she gets asked to do all types of home storage orgnaisation.
"Although pantry organisation is definitely the most popular request that I get, I’m also happy to help people with their linen cupboards and as well as kitchen organisation and styling," she says.
If you’re planning a pantry overhaul any time soon, this one offers some serious inspiration!
